Every Day is Earth Day
Whether you have DIY extensions lying around that you don’t wear anymore, or you’ve just removed your semi permanent extensions at the salon, don't throw them out! Instead, you can donate your old hair extensions and help the planet. For years, we have partnered with Matter of Trusts’ Clean Wave Program to recycle human hair extensions into sustainable methods to combat oil spills and petrochemicals worldwide. Once any wefts, tape-ins or keratins are removed, we send the hair to Matter of Trust and their team manufactures it into felted mats that clean polluted water from storm drains, wells, filtration systems, rivers, and oceans. So, when your extensions become worn out, join us, and put them back to work by donating them!
Our Commitment
We are proud of the commitment we've made to recycle and reuse hair extensions that would have normally gone in the trash, but instead are recycled to help clean up our water systems. Our Glam Seamless Soho and Weho salons started our program and work hard to collect hair throughout the year too. In NYC or LA? Visit one of our stores to drop off your hair. We'd love for you to join us in our commitment to leaving our planet in a better place.

How to Donate Your Hair Extensions
Most extensions have a life span of 1 year, so if your extensions are past their expiration date, you can donate with confidence that your old hair extensions will make this earth a cleaner place. Simply follow these steps to donate your hair:
- Gather hair extensions and email us at support@glamseamless with the subject line "Hair Recycling Program"
- We'll reply with a free return label to help ship your hair
- When we receive your hair extensions, you’ll receive a confirmation email with 10% off your next online purchase or in store (full price products only)
*Free return labels are for U.S. returns only. Postage fees apply for international returns.
** All human hair (not synthetic) is accepted, including from other brands. We accept full and partial sets of hair extensions.
